The Story: Chasing First Light

The “Cityscapes at Dawn” collection is my love letter to stillness. It’s the result of hundreds of hours waking before 4 AM, standing on cold rooftops, waiting for the precise moment the city transitions from sleep to wakefulness. The challenge is to capture that quiet—the moment fog blankets the streets and the first light reflects off glass and steel.

I use long-exposure techniques to smooth the water and turn car headlights into ribbons of light, creating a contrast between the city’s relentless motion and the serene calm of the dawn sky. Each photo in this series is a meditation, a study in patience and the appreciation of the brief moment before the world starts its day.

The Story: Painting with a Lens

The “Neon & Rain” series is my exploration of cyberpunk aesthetics and the beauty in imperfection. I’ve always been fascinated by how rain transforms the city into a dynamic canvas. The wet asphalt acts as a black mirror, doubling the intensity of neon lights and creating a surreal world that feels like a film still.

In this series, I intentionally play with bokeh and manual focus to break the light into abstract shapes. I’m not interested in showing a specific street or building; I’m interested in capturing the *feeling* of being there. The feeling of isolation, the warmth of neon light on a cold night, and the cinematic energy of a city that never sleeps.
